Error message on acer Aspire

I have turned on my laptop and this message has appeared
Error loading operating system_
what do I do?

get someone to look at it
you have either
failed hard drive
corrupted hard drive
virus affecting the boot sector of the drive

raise a job request on our main page at
www.pciq.com and one of our team should be able to sort it out for you

I assume you have files on this machine you need to keep? If so don't try to fix this yourself: you may reduce the chances of getting your stuff back
