Amilo M1437G Service Manual

Hi, I need help, where can i find the service manual of Amilo M1437G. It´s a litle bit tricky to dissamble. Thanks in Advance

a quick Google finds nothing except this page which has a few internal pix.

Fujitsu tend not to release service manuals publicly. When we take a laptop apart its usually trial, error and experience


For information - as far as I can tell neither Fujitso or Fujitsu-Siemens actually built the motherbaord and chassis of those: all indications are that its an ECS or ECS/Uniwill design. If the ECS model number can be identified, then it may be possible to cross reference it to another company's retail model

OK, I've tracked it down as a Uniwill P71EN0
That link has the drivers and user manual for it. Part 4 of the user manual shows you how to do simple stuff like change the memory or hard drive

The machine was also sold as the Hassee W360E / W726E
You can buy a motherboard circuit schematic from from here but I don't think it will help you

Hi. I am having the same problem, trying to take appart an M1437, as i need to replace the power connector. Did you find that last tricky screw? If you did, could you please enlighten me as to where to find it? Thanks.

since then I've found two videos which show how to get into the machine, though not how to remove the motherboard. They may help a bit

You do realise that the power jack for that one is not soldered to the motherboard? It shares a daughter board with the USB sockets, and is attached with a ribbon cable

Thanks for the vids. I got to that point too...just need to get the rest of the back plate off. Indeed, the power port comes together with the corner usb ports.

I got it...You have to remove the heatsink and fan and then you will have access to a tiny black screw right at the corner of the battery port. After doing so you will be able to remove the back plate and then the 2 usb ports near the power jack and the module that has the power jack and the other 2 usb ports. The power cable runs along the cd rom unit, 2 reds + 2 black. Good luck.
