Probably it is overheating. After 10 to 15 minutes the processor has become dangerously hot so the computer responds by turning up the fan to maximum speed, hence the loud continous noise. But this does not work causing the computer to fail, either freezing or spontaneously re-starting. Check for dust blocking the vents or the heat sink. If removing dust does not work then you probably need to reattach the processor to the heat sink using fresh jointing compound.

I would say you had a dodgy power supply and that it needs changing...I have had alot of PC'S with this system. Also another possibility is a dodgy hard drive.
Can you listen as to where the noise is coming from?
Cheers
Andy

try replacing the fan. Also hoover out the PSU & consider fiting extra cooling fans.

you may solve the problem by simply moving the computer.. if it's used in a warm place, near or on top of hot water pipes or radiators or has got loads of clothes piled up around the tower, then it won't help.
