Outline

We are a local, specialist IT support and maintenance company.

Established in 1994 to provide a highly skilled professional and personal service for small and medium-sized enterprises, We have became known amongst local businesses and charities as the provider of customised solutions and for its friendly and effective technical support.

We have expanded by reputation, gaining respect, repeat business and recommendations from satisfied customers. We enjoy dealing with all clients, technical or not, and view computer problems from the user's perspective and we talk in plain English.

Who are we?

We have three permanent specialists and many associates who are technically trained and certified. Our lead specialists have worked for a variety of Blue Chip companies including British Telecommunications, Centrica, AT&T, ICL, Dun & Bradstreet, British Gas, F Hoffmann La Roche and KPMG – each has more than 20 years experience. Their experience allows you to benefit from blue chip expertise tailored to small and medium businesses.

What makes us special?

Our view is that all businesses can benefit greatly from the use of computers but only if the systems are appropriate, the equipment functions as it should, and the user is fully empowered and encouraged.

Our clients call us for free help and advice on upgrading and enhancing their computer systems to keep them competitive in their business. We believe that there should be a clear return on investment to justify expenditure. It is important that any solutions are also easy to use to minimise stress. We do not want to sell solutions which are inappropriate to your current and future needs.

We are here to help to keep the workplace efficient, comfortable and harmonious.

Like you we run a business and want to make it a great success and we will share our expertise with you so that you can enhance your success.

Get peace of mind by using our tailor-made, reasonably-priced, fully-guaranteed, friendly and expert service.

Safety and Security

The workplace should be ergonomically designed so that you and your workforce are comfortable and relaxed. This may take the form of adapted desks, seating, air conditioning and heating, positioning of monitors to avoid screen glare from windows or lighting, avoidance of trip hazards from cables etc.

The equipment itself also needs protecting from excessive heat, electrical interference or accidental damage and we will help you with office layout to optimise conditions.

Systems will also need protection from other hazards such as viruses, cyber-theft and theft. Your data should be fully backed up to protect against physical disasters such as spontaneous equipment failure, fire, flood and theft. We will advise on systems and procedures to protect against all risks.

Equally important is training and encouragement so that your staff feel confident working knowing that friendly help is at hand should things go wrong.

Who do we work with?

We have a portfolio of associates who can provide electrical and data cabling, telephone systems, CCTV, office carpeting and decoration and general project management.

We are accredited partners for major manufacturers of computer equipment and software.

The Services

Pay-as-you-Go – We have teams of engineers who are available to deal with one-off incidents on site. There may be a charge for call-out depending on location and the rapidity of response you require.

Contract Support and Maintenance Cover – Our tailor made agreements provide comprehensive breakdown cover for your equipment and cover replacement parts and temporary loan equipment where possible. You can call our technical support staff at any reasonable time for help with operational issues. We can also access your system remotely to troubleshoot your problem for a faster resolution. If necessary an engineer will be assigned to deal with the problem on site.

Our response will be flexible determined by the nature of the problem you have. Minor problems causing minor inconvenience may be dealt with after the office closes. Major problems will be handled with appropriate high priority. We will agree the proposed action with you.

Advice and guidance on future developments – This is normally given freely either by phone or by personal visit. We encourage you to use us as a sounding board for your ideas. If the project will involve us in extensive research we may charge for our consultancy by agreement.
