The work was done in a ery goood manner. However, the "Crashes" are still occurring and when trying to open a Word doc I still get an error message. "Error 016600" I do not know what to do about that.

I have used another it specialist for pc only work who was less expensive and I had no problems following the work. On this occasion 3 of the tasks were fine, the 4th however has been a mess. I asked for itunes libraries to be cloned in their entirety from my desktop to 2 laptops- the folders were incomplete, I have lost all my playlists and now have 4 GB worth of duplicates on my music folders. I have contacted Richard B. to sort it out over the phone, but we were unable to finish as he had to go out on an appointment. He promised to call back between 2 and 3pm, I have not heard from him since (36 hours) despite 2 messages. I have not received an invoice, which I requested. Overall, I am pretty disillusioned.

Friendly guy who told me what the problem was and told me step by step what he was doing to fix it. He obviously enjoys his work and my laptop lives to fight another day :-)

This is just to let you know that Richard B. has been and was brilliant! It's marvellous to see someone in action who knows what they are doing and actually loves what they do, rather than jobsworths who want the money for as little effort as possible (a real professional as opposed to the guy who did our garden and by coincidence was also named Richard: Expected me to dump the soil he'd dug up and return his mixing board, plus wanted good money for a days work, that only took two hours (he lied). But enough of this complaining about the worthless - more praise for the worthwhile!

Although he had bad news for us - that our G5 iMac was essentially unfixable - Richard explained it in a friendly and easy to understand way. Would definately use him again and would recommend his service highly.
