Problem Summary:

Customer's Description:

My desktop gaming computer will not turn on since it was moved to a different electrical outlet. The indicator light no longer shows it is getting power, even when back in the previous location. The computer is dual voltage running on 240-volts with a US 3-prong lead plus a plug adapter. I suspect a power surge may have damaged the power supply.

Customer Review:

He was very professional and responded quickly as promised. He was prepared with the proper part and installed it and verified it worked. He was able to provide a new lead with a UK plug to replace the US plug that appeared to be faulty as well. I suggested that the internal jumble of wires be re-secured, but he indicated that it wasn't necessary. However, soon after he left, a connector was bumping into the large side fan of the PC. I was able to secure the wires myself. All works well.
