Computers Server is a G5 dual screen being used as a server server static IP There is only 1 share: MK-V with the username “mkvserver” mkvadmin The machine has no real roles, and is just in file server mode. Desktops All machine are macs, apart from the engineer PCs. DNS is manually set in engineer PCs (otherwise there are problems auth’ing against server) Email Email is collected by IMAP and pop3. Internet Talk Talk business. ADSL Domains FTP Useful info Charlottes computer is a mac mini with windows XP installed. There is also logmein access to the server and also to charlottes machine. 2 x Wireless access points. No details Backups Site to site server to server backup using The Mac server backs up to Howard’s mac server in the US. Howard never turns this server on, so it could be a patchy backup. Need new support company as current supplier does not support macs.
