Slow Computer, General Check Up

Customer's Description:

Programs are quitting frequently, despite updating regularly, upgrading to CS3 and installing new RAM. Also we have 2 MAcs connected to a server. sometimes files appear in he folder above on one compute to the other, and sometimes they dont appear at all! Getting worrying as has led to accidenal deletion of important files.
