Customer's Description:

Acer Aspire 5630/vista home premium. Works ok on level surface but power cuts out when laptop tilted. Problem started after laptop dropped on optical drive. Drive worked after fall for a few days but now no longer shows in 'my computer' display. I can bring laptop to you for assessment. (also two keys missing on keyboard)

Very quick response. Laptop now repaired and working fine.(collected it 24hrs ago) Intermittent faults can be hard to pin down and Nigel's approach to diagnosis and testing is thoughtful and thorough.
