Slow Computer, General Check Up

Customer's Description:

I have recently set up a blackberry on an e-mail address that I was using which was previously working fine, but now e-mails come through to my blackberry ok but take a significant amount of time coming through on my desktop. The general speed of my system also seems to be effected. I have also recently installed Norton anti-virus, so don't know if that might be causing the problem. Thanks
