Hi there wonder if you can help. I have a Sony Vaio VGN-SZ71WN. I came installed with Windows Vista 32bit (nearly years old) and I have recently upgraded to Windows 64bit. Nearly everything is running smoothly which is great. I do have a few issues with some of the built in hardware though. My webcam microphone memory stick duo card reader and fingerprint scanner aren't quite working. My laptop seems to recognise them but can't actually get them to function. The webcam only shows a blue "no signal" screen for example. I have downloaded some drivers from the Vaio website for my problems but I just can't seem to install them. I've tried internet guides and everything but I just don't know what to do with them! They aren't executables one of them was and it fixed all of the graphics and monitor issues. The drivers from Sony are .inf and .sys type files. Here is where I got them from: http://support.vaio.sony.eu/os/vista/64bit/ I'm sure the drivers will fix my issues I just can't load them up! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks alot. |
