Customer's Description:

Macbook Pro 17" - screen will break up (only top quarter functions) on startup, maybe one time in three but getting worse. Can take a dozen or more resets to get it going again (or repeated open/shut lid). Changing screen res makes no difference, but external display gives no problem. Computer is 4-years old and I don't want to spend much on an "old" computer if it's likely to be expensive. Is it worth fixing? What do you advise?
