Slow Computer, General Check Up

Customer's Description:

I have an Advent PC with Windows XP. It recently detected a wormkit virus, then switched to Windows XP mode. I have tried entering my password, but it is not accepted. I have also tried using the Manufacturer's recovery disc. It is unable to locate registry files therefore cannot recover my system. At present I cannot gain access to my system.When it did run it was running slowly.
