I am being sent e_mail by friends but am not receiving them. Why

There could be a number of reasons:-

1 They have got your Email address wrong
2 Their ISP has been blacklisted by your ISP, so any mail is getting rejected
3 The mail arrives at your ISP, but it contains a virus and is being blocked by your ISP
4 The mail is being diverted into your Junk mail folder ( could be several reasons why)

Try sending them an email and asking them to simply reply to that email. This will confirm whether or not they have your correct email address.

This is the most common reason for not receiving expected emails.

If they are sending you emails, but they aren't receiving any bounce back message or error, the chances are quite high that you have received the email but it is being sent straight to the Junk or Deleted Items folders; or, as Alan has said you've been blacklisted.
