Drivers for Lenovo touchpad

I have purchased a new Lenovo laptop with win 10 pre-installed.

I have had win 10 removed and win 7 installed.

There are only drivers for the touchpad for win 10 so the touchpad doesn't work.

The installation of win 7 was done by my local independent IT shop who said no drivers are available for win 7.

I have been on the Lenovo website and can only find win 10 touchpad drivers.

Does anyone know any different or could suggest a remedy please?
