I disconnect from the internet every 1 - 2 minutes. (Very Frustrating)
Okay, so my router is downstairs, and my pc is upstairs, and i have a wireless USB adapter for my pc since it doesnt have a built in wireless card. It had been on and off for a while, it would go 2-3 months where the internet would be fairly slow, but i stayed connected, then for a month i would have to unplug the wireless adapter, say after i watch a minute of a youtube video, it would stop, and i would have to unplug it then plug it back in, and repeat this process all day, and as you can imagine, it becomes extremely frustrating.
I have tried many different wireless adapters but to no avail, my brother just got a new pc in the bedroom next to time, he has a built in wireless card but he still disconnects from time to time, but thats just down to out fairly poor connection.
We are switching broadband providers in a couple of days, and we where suggesting buying wifi boosters, i though maybe my pc was in a dead spot, but i dont want to waste money on something that isnt going to work.
(PLEASE NOTE, this is not a problem with my router, we had an engineer come out about 2 days ago, and he replaced the modem, still nothing changed)
If anyone has any ideas on what the problem could be or maybe what could fix it, PLEASE, let me know.
Thanks for reading.
