why oh why is it costing me £10 an hour to use my 3 dongle that carnt be right surely

The basic tariff for 3 broadband PAYG is £10 per Gigabyte of data downloaded/uploaded in one month. Watching TV in HD over the internet could certainly utilise about 1 Gigabyte per hour!!! It is also possible a computer virus could make heavy use of your internet connection without you even being aware of it. But David is correct that you should speak to 3.
