3 Dongle

Hi,

Wonder if you can help, I have a 3 dongle and I used it with my computer over a year ago, I have just tried to use it again and I get a message saying there is a newer version and that I must uninstall the old version before I can continue. I try to uninstall but it will not go and I cannot continue or get online. Any suggestions?

Well you need software for your dongle to work so you need to download the update BEFORE you try to uninstall the old software. Whenever I've played with one of those dongles the update has just installed itself over the old software without the need to intervene; are you sure you are reading the instructions correctly?

Yes it comes up with a screen that tells me I need to uninstall the old version then there is a tick box that prompts you to uninstall now, I tick that then it starts to run, then I get a message saying setup.exe has stopped working and then it tells me windows is gathering information then nothing else happens really. Still not uninstalled or able to use dongle.
