Battery Upgrade

Hi guys. I have a PACKARD BELL EASYNOTE SW51. Its great to use but the battery life is poor at about an hour. Being a sports photographer I need longer. Is there anyway around this? Are there upgraded batteries you can buy that give longer life? Cheers guys

RE: Battery Upgrade

How old is the Battery? Has it been conditioned correctly or is the battery in with the charger pluged in?, It could be that the battery is just getting old. try these to sites to see if the sell a replacement www.laptopandspares.com or www. batterymall.co.uk. look under you battery there should be a model code. look for that on these websites. Find one with a large mAh that should give you a longer life battery. If you have probs finding one post you battery model number on here and im sure someone will help you

RE: Battery Upgrade

Hi

If you are looking for buying new battery,I suggest you to buy only from Packard Bell.In the market you will find lot of sellers who sell these batteries but 99.9% they are not genuine.

genrally, yes, higher capacity aftermarket batteries are usually available. However you do have to be careful where you get them as theres a lot of junk on the market. However you don't have to buy from the PC maker - they all buy them in and relabel them anyway
Big questions is can we find a replacement. My main battery supplier does not list a cross reference for this machine, and a quick Google search finds little. Its probable this battery is used elsewhere - can you can the makers label and identify manufacturer and serial number? Google that and we may get somewhere
