Installing win7 64bit

New HP Pavilion Elite m9753uk Desktop PC which uses a Nvideo Geforce GT 220 graphics card.

Doing a clean install of Win7 64bit, all working well except for 'display' need new drivers, when attempting to load latest drivers, message comes up 'unable to install, need to update Vidio Bios'

No updates available from HP or Nvidio, The machine is sold as a 64bit machine,Vista 64bit but won't work with win 7

RE: Installing win7 64bit

neither HP not nVidia will have actually made the graphics card. That will have been made by one of the board manufacturers
You need to ID the card, find who made it, and see if they have am updated video Bios

RE: Installing win7 64bit

probably not
usually those diagnostic programs just give generic answers - not the details you need
Open the machine, take he card out and see whats written on it in the way of makers labels

Yo may need to search with Google (actually Yahoo! often works better for that specific task) to actually make sense of the labels
