Customer's Description:

My laptop is a compaq and will not start, it goes to the boot screen and gives me options to start, ie safe start, start with last good settings etc. If i choose safe start it runs a script which looks like applications and zeros and then goes back to the boot option screen. Ive tried F8, F10, F12 it says windows has trouble starting. Please help.

Friendly guy who told me what the problem was and told me step by step what he was doing to fix it. He obviously enjoys his work and my laptop lives to fight another day :-)
