Customer's Description:

Windows crashed. AMD FX60 2Gb, 4x250Gb disks in RAID, ASUS motherboard, WinXP Pro SP3, hooked up to home network behind a Vigor 2800VG router. I had loaded new NForce drivers, and it ddnt reboot, hung just after the inital windows splash screen (the one befre the login page). Can getinto Safe Mode as fa as the logi screen, bt an ogin as mose is inoperative. One of the AD disks s suspect as it detached from the RAID, all tests so far indicate that drive is healthy, so that one may just need a reformat. Preior to crash, RAID showing up as "degraded", but still worked fine. PC appears to be stuck in a"loop", yo can seeand ear it chuntering away, but does not go past first splash screen. No reports insidethe BIOS of an issues, allappears healthy, hence suspect its a software issue. Task would include getting at data files on the RAID, as well as getting it all back up again. Urgent task - needed for small business continuity, looking for a On Site Home Call out today. Monitoring email addy below on a Laptop. Conactable by phone instantly all day

Syeve reacted at very short notice on News Eve, fitting in a job for me that was extremely important to me and my Business. The System crash tookout my main Business PC, and from my end of life it was crisis time in that it needed rapid fixing. It turned out nor to be a run of the mill crash in some respects, but Steve took it in his stride, very flexible and knowledgeable on the topic. Its clear he has a solid genuinely Professional background, not a home grown enthusiast. A Gent, and no ladies on their own during a house call to do a PC fix need have any concerns. A good man who I would recommend to anyone.
